RETURNS – EXCHANGES - REFUNDS
Customers have the right to return items (with the exception of custom-made items) purchased on the site sarahlou.nl and request for an exchange or full refund for items that they are not satisfied with providing that the request is received no later than 7 calendar days from receipt of the order, and if the following conditions are met:
Returned items must be accompanied with their original invoice or, in the case of request for a partial refund, with a copy of the invoice, and goods must be in their original state and packaging including an unopened seal sticker on the plastic bag. In a quest for continuous improvement of our website, we would like to know the reasons for your return. You can send us an email for this purpose, please specify whether you prefer an exchange or a refund and send us the email with the motive of your return.
In the case of exchanges:
- If the quoted prices of the items selected for exchange have a value exceeding the value of the items being returned, the customer will be required to settle the difference in accordance with the current ‘General Conditions of Sale’.
- If the quoted prices of the items selected for exchange have a value lower than the value of the items being returned, the price difference will be refunded by Sarah Lou in accordance with the current ‘General Conditions of Sale’.
In cases where an exchange is requested, shipping costs for the initial delivery are not refunded. A single exchange of respective orders is possible.
The exchange only rarely involves the reservation of an item. If upon receipt of the package return the item requested in exchange is not available in stock, the customer cannot claim it. Sarah Lou will then propose to the customer another product or a refund.
In cases of request for refund, and in accordance with your statutory rights as a consumer, customers are entitled to request for refund for items ordered from the website shop sarahlou.nl providing that notice is received no later than 7 calendar days after to date of delivery. Products returned in their original state and packaging as indicated in the previous section. Sarah Lou will endeavor to have appropriate funds refunded to your debit/credit card within 15 working days after receipt of the unwanted merchandise. In all cases, in line with your entitlement to return, refunds will be completed no later than 30 days after receipt of returned goods.
In the case of a request for a refund, and in accordance with your statutory rights as a consumer, you will be fully refunded the original shipping costs charged by Sarah Lou only in cases of request for either exchange or refund that arise from there being a problem/defect with items received (wrong item dispatched, product damaged/faulty etc.) will the costs incurred in returning the items be refunded.
Sarah Lou has final discretion in deciding if returned items are in their original condition when received by Sarah Lou.
Sarah Lou will not be responsible in case of losses of merchandise arising from an incorrect address being provided, or for the delay in return delivery to shop.miccys.com of products you wish to exchange/receive a refund, in-so-far as the inherent risks taken and undertaken in return shipping of items for exchange/refund rest solely with you.
We do not offer the option of exchanges or refunds for items purchased in Sarah Lou’s points of sale these items need to be sought from the store from which the items were originally purchased.
